The Forster Fellas Big Book Arvo - Saturday 16 September 2017
Club Forster, Forster

The Forster Fellas Book Club and Great Lakes Library Service invite you to join in a scintillating evening of panel discussion and audience participation at the inaugural Big Book Night. All funds raised on the night will be donated to the Great Lakes Education Fund (GLEF) for scholarships for needy students.

Cost is just $20 and includes supper. Tickets are available from the Forster Visitor Information Centre & The Sitting Wombat Bookshop.


Amaroo Dolphin & Whale Watching Cruise Fundraiser - Friday 22 September 2017

Come and join Marine Rescue Forster on their annual fund raising cruise of the lake and ocean on a dolphin and whale watch aboard the Amaroo Cruise boat. Bring your friends, family, neighbours, club members and enjoy morning tea whilst taking in the beautiful scenery and wonderful marine life including dolphins, whales & sea turtles that live in the crystal clear turquoise water of the lake and ocean on a 2 hour cruise.

Wallis Lake Oyster & Craft Beer Festival - Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 September 2017

Hamiltons are delighted to be hosting the 2017 Wallis Lake Oyster & Craft Beer Festival. This year they will have 10 local brewers & live music all day. They also have an oyster eating competition & kids entertainment to keep the little ones busy - it's going to be a weekend of fun for the whole family.

Bulahdelah Hill Climb - Sunday 24 September 2017

The famous Bulahdelah Hill climb claims the fastest public road hill climb in the country. Opening the doors to the general Motorsport community.

Free Entry for all spectators, Great viewing areas and over 50 cars lined up ready to roll. 


The Comboyne Spring Spectacular - Sunday 24 September 2017
Comboyne Community Showground, Comboyne

Relax in shady marquees, listen to live music, watch buskers, whip cracking demonstration and participation, and see the huge display of Classic Cars, Motorcycles & historic Machinery. There will also be woodworking display & demos, woolspinning, poster competition; facepainting, meet lots of animals, fair rides, Rural Fire Truck hose fun!

Spectacular Raffle Prizes, market stalls offering local produce, arts and crafts. Proceeds assist the Comboyne Community Showground and the Westpac Rescue Helicopters and entry is just $5 with kids under 16 years FREE!


Beach Blast 2017 with the Sydney Sixers - Thursday 28th September 2017
Forster Main Beach, Forster

The Sixers are bringing the Big Bash to Forster! Join them at Forster Main Beach for a FREE MILO T20 Blast Beach Clinic along with giveaways, special guest visits from Syd Sixer and a Sixers Player, slide into the Sixers ball pit and learn about water safety thanks to Surf Lifesaving NSW!

There are only 100 spots so make sure you register to secure your spot. The first 50 to register will also receive a pair of Sixers Sunnies!



Wildcat Regatta - Saturday 30 September 2017
Great Lakes Sailing Club, Forster

The major off the beach cat regatta of the season with all cat classes welcome.This year's event will also be Round 1 of the NSW F18 State Titles. Come along and join in this iconic event.


Old Bar Beach Festival - Saturday 30 September & Sunday 1 October 2017
Old Bar Road, Taree

This event exudes beachy vibes and includes something for everyone; from mega markets and classic car display to carnival rides, food vendors and beach bars. Check out the live music and the kombi parade then finish the day with an amazing fireworks display.
